The jacket can be worn on its own or as an insulating layer under a waterproof/windproof outer shell. Thanks to the heavy double fleece material and the roomy cut, it keeps the wearer comfortably warm at all times. The two Velcro areas on the upper arms have a vertical separation, which helps the Velcro to fit ergonomically around the upper arm.

The pockets have been positioned so that they remain accessible even when wearing a breast pocket or a rucksack with a chest strap. There are various cable grommets on the inside for using electronic devices. Operating the zippers with gloves is effortless thanks to the ribbed tabs.
