Be Free Gravity 10L water filter

The foldable Katadyn BeFree Gravity 10L filter system uses gravity to provide fresh, clean water. At the heart of the BeFree Gravity 10L is the EZ-Clean Membrane™, which enables a particularly fast flow rate of 2 liters per minute. The water passes through a hollow fiber filter, which reliably removes bacteria, cysts and sediments with its pore size of 0.1 micron (0.0001 mm). Thanks to the viewing window, the water level in the filter bag is clearly visible. With the practical carrying strap, the filled filter can be easily transported from the water source back to camp and hung in a nearby tree.

The outlet hose can be easily removed via a quick-release valve with automatic outlet stop, which prevents contact with contaminated water when refilling.
The capacity of the filter is up to 1000L, depending on the water quality. To clean the EZ-Clean membrane, simply shake or swirl it in water in the field or at home.

Filtered water can be stored in a separate canister, bottle or water bag. The opening of the canister, bottle or bag for filtered water should be as small as possible to prevent dirt from entering. If the filtered water is not used on the same day, it can be safely and easily preserved with Katadyn Micropur.
